Doing a big happy dance!! Protein rocks! I have finally! dropped below a number that has eluded me for months now. I know when I weigh in with my trainer today the number will still be above it on her scale, but I don't care--I'm on my way down again and it feels really good!

HOORAY!! I, too, finally broke thru a plateau Lurkey!! I've been in the 1x0's since August. This morning's weigh in showed me at 1y8.6!!! A 2 pound drop. BS and BP numbers were "within normal parameters"!!

If I could move I would be doing the happy dance. I really didn't expect the weight to go down this week as I haven't walked or done any exercises. Guess the pain did the same thing.

Congrats to all of you who are keepin' on keepin' on!!
It’s never too late to be what you might have been.

LurkyLou and Emptynester, you are doing so well, wow. Getting into another "decade" of scale numbers is freeing for a person's brain, too! It's like the mental energy was well spent (whew) and now you have a less stressful opinion about the scale.

I did make a yellow circular note, about 5 inches across, and taped it to my desk cabinet front. The number "140" is large in the middle and "circling - Jan 1 2011" is printed all the way around the perimeter.

Congrats MT! Hope you can do your happy dance soon!!

Harriet: it's so great you can plan and project that far into the future! I get discouraged if I do that, so I just have to have the week's goal in front of me--and maybe the month! But dropping below a certain number is really inspiring...............

Today going to the RV show to walk around pushing stroller w/ dgd in it for some exercise.
This is h's idea! Great idea only if you have a stroller and car seat. dd & h. & I all forgot about car seat so I was home w/ dgd so we went for a walk instead today here around the neighbor hood it was great fun to see the bulbs in bloom crocus here now and the birds chickadees and robins mostly.

On Sundays, I've been trying to jog on the treadmill instead of walking on an incline like I do other days of the week. Today, I increased my jog time from 5 minutes to 6. So I walk for 4, run for 6 and repeat for a total of 45 minutes. The last "extra" minutes is walking as well. Feels good when I'm done! ;)
