I am noticing that I am having a hard time letting go of "sentimental" things from dkids youth that will not define who they were as young children that they can cherish rather just an emotional tug to the past. I think, for me, once I stopped my weekly dejunking that became almost a year of being out of practice my judgement of what is keepable and what isn't is blurred. So struggling to let go of silly stuff.

Yes blessed it's strange what we hang on to isn't it?

Yesterday while we were out doing errands
I de-cluttered a small bag of too small clothing that no longer fits.

I started the holiday grand plan early because it's a great guide for how do do each room. I know I always end up late with everything, so I'll probably get 3/4 through at this rate. I don't think it can hurt. LOL

This past 2 weeks I've gone through some Christmas and Hallowe'en things, put everything in those bins that was sprawled all over the place. It's a relief to have my holiday stuff all in the right place for when I need it. I'm planning September and October's meals using the Hallowe'en magazine and some other recipes.

I've gone through most of this huge box of just papers ~ how did I collect all this stuff? :geek: I bagged them into stuff to do, stuff to archive, and cooking/recipes.

Everything in that closet is now stacked in boxes. I saved just the good moving boxes for when we move someday. Cleaned my coat closet, was shocked to get a layer of dirt off the shelf with some glass cleaner! Washed all the baseboards in the front area and washed floor real well on hands and knees (and a foam rubber kneeling pad).

Doing Kelly's missions from somewhere else too, so am off to do a fling. Hope everyone has a great Friday and a safe weekend!

Things are humming for declutterers! Sunflower, good job planning ahead.

Today I decluttered in the master bedroom. Probably three 15s at different times through the day. Able to break one box down and send to recycling, for about 4 square feet freed up.
